Colorful Table and Flea Market Treasures

Susie is a talented graphic designer, entertainer,
flea market sleuth and fun friend.

We were invited for a somewhat "impromptu" dinner (can you believe it?)...
Susie collects antiques from flea markets around southern California.
Here, a  bamboo light fixture was given a makeover with
black paint, gold accents and grass cloth shades.

Vintage barkcloth drapes with heavy lining and weights are a great find

as is her statement making display of antique tole trays.

The bottom tray was purchased at the Marché aux Puces St-Ouen de Clignancourt in Paris.
Oui.  That's a mouthful.  Information here.
Party favors of her famous fresh, snickerdoodle cookies were given at each place setting.
Thank you, Susie.

The next Long Beach, California "Antique" market is Sunday, March 20.
Who wants to go?
So tell me, do you have a favorite flea market find?

Best wishes,
Mary Ann
