Turquoise and Beach Themed Shower

I'm thinking of changing the name of my blog from
"Classic Casual Home" to "Classic Debbie's Home."
(Since I talk about her all the time :)
This morning, Debbie and her daughter, Julie were preparing for
a bridal shower and I stopped by
to drop off the extra hydrangeas that they needed.
Julie and her boyfriend, Mark were hard at work preparing the ingredients for
The recipe is from the blog Iowa Girl Eats.

I asked if they needed any help and...
I proceeded to finish wrapping the personalized stationary
that Julie and Debbie made as party favors.
And I addressed the place cards...

I was with Debbie when she bought these turquoise goblets
at Home Goods.
The turquoise table cloth is made from Raoul fabric.
Two tables were set in the dining room.

Debbie recently restyled and edited her book cases for the

This was a nice touch on the window sill in the powder room.

The extra hydrangeas that I brought over were added below.
Didn't Debbie do a great job on the décor?
She even made the sweet napkin rings by simply threading raffia
through the holes in sand dollars.
Happy weekend everyone!

Hope the shower is as lovely as the decor.

  40. Hi, sweetie!

How nice to see your comment this morning! I was thinking about you the other day, missing your posts. I can't visit all the blogs as much as I used to because Matthew needs me all the time. He just started on solids, so we're working on that, plus lots of projects going on right now.

I'm so glad you liked the fabrics. It means a lot coming from you.

Have a great day, my friend!
