This is a new vignette in my living room using natural coral.
The leaf shaped coral reminds me of
the cabbage that we planted as ground covering
in the front of the house…
I’ve been adding the leaves to grocery store tulips
for Spring bouquets.
These rub on decals were in the dollar section at Target…
Alie made the tie-dyed eggs and I did the personalization.
We used some as place cards last night for
A little humming bird stopped by for a bath in the
French trough fountain just before dinner.
Tina, from The Enchanted Home
was kind enough to include me in her,
Bloggers’ Beautiful Abodes series.

That looks so amazing. The outdoor settings look gorgeous. I'm so happy spring is finally here. I just bought this gorgeous victorian manor mansion birdhouse that I got from http://www.worldtohome.com/victorian-manor-mansion-birdhouse.aspx to put in my garden a few weeks ago. I think it's so stunning and so perfect for this weather.

Hi Mary Ann! I saw your post over at The Enchanted Home… and I just love your home! I live over in L.A. and every summer I head over to the tip of Balboa! I fell in love with My Hub 7 years ago at Jetty park, he took me there on one our first dates. Such a wonderful place to live… One day I'll buy a beach house there. Its so fun to see all the changes that have happened over the years. I almost feel like a local when I'm there. Have a great day and thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

That vignette is so pretty – the coral is a special piece but I really love the green that is picked up in the small stack of books.

Hello Mary Ann,
I so enjoyed the post on your beautiful home, over at Tina's blog 'The Enchanted Home'! Love this post and all your gorgeous decorations. I adore 'Ornamental Cabbages' and have planted them in large pots on my terrace….but hadn't thought of combining them with flowers for indoors – stunning!
Have a Happy Easter…..

I am so impressed that you put the leaves in the store bought flowers. What a great idea and way to keep using them. Although, you probably still have a few outdoor months left on them, I would guess. The letter on the egg was just the sweetest touch.

Mary Ann,
I enjoyed the tour and discussion on tips for decorating, over at Tina's Enchanted Home. The ornamental cabbage in green and white is a favorite. I liked the way you used it in a vase with tulips.
Happy Spring.

Honestly, Mary Ann your creativity knows no bounds! I have always loved that ornamental cabbage and it looks gorgeous with the tulips! Cute idea as well for decorating eggs – now that the boys are older I haven't decorated eggs in forever – hmmm…. maybe a Friday project – thanks for the inspiration!!

So enjoyed your guest post over at The Enchanted Home. I love your style and have "pinned" a lot of your home to my Pinterest boards. I do have a few questions, if you wouldn't mind sharing. What is the source for your living room chandelier and dimensions? I have my eye on a similar one for our great room in our beach cottage style home, but don't know which size is best. Whichever size yours is would look like it would work. Thanks for being such an incredible inspiration! Wish you lived in Florida! Best, Beth C.

Mary Ann, Today is everyone's lucky day! TWO fabulous posts to swoon over! First, your post today with the prettiest spring/Easter ideas that have inspired me to head straight to the nursery, to Target and Trader Joe's. Your table settings are
delicious and fun. I revisited your "French Trough Fountain" post and what a difference two years makes. The plantings have grown and the little touches you've added have made it a beautiful focal point in your patio. Then the added bonus of guest posting for Tina's "The Enchanted Home" blog, I'm in heaven! You might think that we're getting tired of seeing your home and the things you do to make it so lovely, but Mary Ann….you would be wrong! I could look at it everyday….all day and it would never get boring! OK….I'm starting to sound a little like a stalker!! Thank you for brightening my day and have a beautiful Easter.

Marianne, It is always a pleasure to see what you create! Love the little monogrammed eggs, very fun and festive. Ornamental cabbage is so pretty, I plant it every year at our home too. I just pulled my fading plants out and next will go in the impatiens. I love Spring and I always love seeing your home,
