Cosy California Style

Here is a look at my client, 
Lisa's grown son's bedroom in 
Corona del Mar, California...
making the most of a compact space.
This is what his room looked like in their old house...
I found this lamp at Home Goods and
sent Lisa a photo text that it was $39.99
and she said "buy it!"
The metal end table is from Restoration Hardware.

When Lisa and I were shopping for 
home accessories at Pottery Barn...
we each rounded a corner with this same 
cable knit pillow in our hands...
Talk about "in sync decorating!"

Speaking of California style...I got my new
It's great.
This office, with the white grass shade, boxes and rustic table desk,
 reminded me of my own a bit.
I like these little pebbles at the base of one of my topiaries.

The One Room Challenge is coming up again (where participants make over a room in six weeks). This time Calling it Home will make it open to everyone with a linking event.

  2. The bedroom is fantastic. I wonder how my son would feel about it. Actually, I know he would not care either way. I may need to copy that. I also got my JAM book, so many great pictures. Thanks for the mention. I think it will be great to see what everyone does. Even more ideas to borrow.
