Did You See This Feature?

In case you missed it...
here is the article about our home
that ran in the May
Better Homes and Gardens...
Opps...I sent the post out with this page missing...

I wish my husband had not been away at a work event.

I like the way the writer, Paige makes my thriftiness sound creative :)

This is all basically in our San Francisco dining room and the living room is similar
but with less bright colors.

And here are a few shots that
didn't make it into the magazine…

I've had a few people tell me that they
are not getting my emailed posts through Feedburner.
If you are one of those,
please sign up again or try bloglovin'.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

 Thanks for visiting!

  1. Such a beautiful spread. Congrats on the article.

(The Feedburner issue is such a pain. Affecting lots of blog subscribers apparently!)

  5. Like Ron, I have my copy saved. It was a great feature! They should have put the basketball photo in there. Too cute! :) The Feedburner issue seems to be improving (or maybe it is my imagination.) But it has certainly affected many many bloggers.

  12. I was so excited when you first announced that you'd gotten your issue, I ran right out and bought one....only to get home and discover it was the April issue!!! I didn't look at it in the store because I wanted to save it until I could sit down with a cup of tea and really enjoy the article. So you can imagine my disappointment! I kept watching for the May issue and FINALLY it came out! It's a fabulous piece on you, your family and your beautiful home! Congrats again!!!

  19. I'm holding on to my copy, so when I someday meet you in person, you can autograph it for me :) That doesn't sound stalkerish or creepy at all, does it? Love your home!!

  22. I was so excited when sitting at the eye doctor yesterday with my mother (for 4 hours!!!) to open the BH&G and see this whole spread!!! I said "this is my friend, Mary Ann" to my mother. At 88, she is not completely sure of all of this blogging business, but we so enjoyed reading every word and seeing the gorgeous images of your home and family….loved!!! Completely thrilled for you!!

  23. Hi, Mary Ann! I'm reading the article right now! I have a strange question...how long are your dining and living rooms together?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That looks funny...what I mean is what is the length of both of them together. :)

    2. The lot is only 35 feet wide on Lido Isle. The length of the living room and dining room together is probably about 28 feet.

  24. Wow - so amazing Mary Ann! Congrats! I've gotten my BHG but hadn't read it yet - I'm going to go find it so I can devour the article about your home. Can't wait to read it!!

  25. What a beautiful home. I loved your sitting room so much I clipped the page and kept it. I'm curious to know if you can tell me the name of the artist who painted the colorful abstract to the right of your fireplace. I would love to see her/his other available work. Thanks in advance!
