Spreading The Love!

I'm pulling the sources for the Soft Green/Aqua Master Bedroom.  But first a little Valentine's Day love...

For Netta's birthday present,  I sent her these handmade oil and vinegar cruets.  She texted me this photo of them on her kitchen counter with fresh red roses.
(More about her beautiful kitchen HERE).

Don't pinks and reds say Valentine's Day I love pink, especially tulips.
I bought cherry blossom branches, too and the petals are shedding, but it reminds me of one of my favorite easy, fragrant table settings.
Just sprinkle some fresh petals on your Valentines Day table.  I personally like to stay home on Valentines Day…it can get kind of crazy/expensive out there.  I'm lucky that Howard cooks, but even pizza feels special on a pretty table.
I like how my friend, Susie hangs personalized Valentine's Day cookies from branches... so much that every year I think…I want to do this…and just pray I don't eat them all.
To be real…mine would NEVER look this good.

In my friend, Debbie's case…two bouquets are better than one.

  4. You spread the love in everyone of your posts! They bring me such joy! I, too, love pinks in all shades for Valentine's day! I think maybe because since I use red for Christmas, so pink makes it feel different and special. I love frosted sugar cookies like Susie's and often make heart ones, but NEVER as wonderfully decorated as hers. They inspire me! Your table is beautiful and could easily go from a brunch/luncheon to a romantic dinner. Debbie's island bouquets are gorgeous too!
Happy Valentines Day! Sending you lots of love! Gail
