California Décor: At Ease With a Refined Vintage Mix

Last weekend, my husband and I were invited to stay at Cindy's from Rough Luxe Lifestyle beautiful vacation home in Central California by Lake Nacimiento.  After a long drive from San Francisco, we were met by a smiling Cindy and candlelight...

 And a great dinner!

This was our bedroom with pretty bed linens.

Look at the views that we woke up to the next morning!

We had breakfast here...
See how Cindy mixes antique shutters with newer things to create a pleasing, layered look?

The drive through the Paso Robles wine country is gorgeous.  We stopped for some wine tasting at the Justin Winery.
You can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Then, Cindy and I strolled around the quaint town of Paso Robles, while the guys watched football.
Later, we took a walk.  Lake Nacimiento is low due to the drought.  We are hoping an El Nino year will fill it back up!
Here is another of their beautifully decorated bedrooms.  I just love how she mixes old and new and edits so everything feels collected and not "cookie cutter new."

There are five bedrooms in their home... which is available for rent HERE.  Great for groups of friends or families.

My photos do not do this gracious home justice!
So, please check out Cindy's portfolio Here.
Cindy will even decorate it for you for the holidays like Thanksgiving or Christmas.
Thanks Cindy and Steve for a perfect weekend in Central California!

  8. What a beautiful home and how cool is it to make such great new friends in the blog world?!! When I was young we used to go water skiing at Nacimiento...we camped at the lake in tents, drank margaritas at night and skiied during the day. Your digs were much nicer! Haha :)

  10. I love Cindy's lake house! I first saw it before I met her (or you!) when it was featured on Cote de Texas! It is so pretty, and the setting is gorgeous. My husband and I have been to Paso many times but never to that lake, which I definitely need to rectify!

Glad you enjoyed the stay:) have a nice weekend Mary Ann!
