Stylish Deals For The Home

Have you been to World Market lately?  I went this week and gathered these photo frames for a client's book shelves.  Good prices and I like how they coordinate.

These birch wrapped candles would look good straight through the holidays.  They are on sale right now.
I also like this campaign desk and chair.
 Cute clock.
I am not shopping for myself.  I am not shopping for myself.  I am not shopping for myself.

But this rustic calendar would be fun on my desk.
They have sheep skin rugs about 21" x 41"(bigger than IKEA's).  I have a couple of clients (you know who you are) who have been thinking about getting one or two of these for bedrooms.

Great wooden chargers and metal flatware--good for all year round.
These dish towels, on sale for $3.19, are chic and would make cool, oversized napkins...or just make drying dishes more enjoyable.
AND they make a great hostess gift when used to wrap a bottle of wine.
And talk about fun napkins for $9.99 for six.

On Monday, Cindy Hattersley and I went to the Traditional Home Show House in Napa, Calif.  We are going to post our highlights this Monday.

I'm interested to see her photos versus what grabbed my eye...like this beauty by Lisa Mende Design.

Have a great weekend!

  2. My son scored that campaign desk and chair off craigslist in Manhattan! He loves it!
Sorry I missed the show house, would have loved to have joined you two!!!!

  3. Sadly I do not live near a world market. But these are great finds.

    1. You can buy on-line, too, Elizabeth.

    2. Good idea!...thanks for the reminder Mary Ann!! :)

  4. I love that desk and chair and those candles couldn't be more perfect!

  5. Great finds! I love those beautiful birch pillar candles. I have to check out those inexpensive napkins!

  6. These are great ideas ! I'm heading to World Market for the sheepskin (amazing price) and the towels for a house warming gift.....Really, really enjoy your blog so much. Always great posts....

  7. I was just looking on Ikea's website at the faux sheepskin rug they sell (I won't buy the real version due to ethical reasons). They are so inexpensive that it wouldn't matter if our dogs used them as secondary dog beds. But I wonder what the quality is like and how they feel. Nothing like the real thing, I'm sure.

  8. Mary Ann,
I loved the rustic perpetual calendar. I love the great finds at World Market. I am over due for a visit.

  9. I'm definitely going to check out these great finds! I usually try to stay away from that store because I always find something fun to buy that I don't need!!! Boy...I would loved to gone to that Home Tour in Napa...I bet it was amazing!
    Happy Weekend!
