It’s fun to peruse the fabulous goods at the Borough Market in London.
We purchased the Apple Caramel Crumble cake from Konditor and Cook Bakery (delicious) to take home.
We stayed at a beautiful new hotel called the Corinthia. Our room was in shades of amethyst and green.
There are lots of interesting nooks in the lobby.
We went to the natural history museum. That is my sister in the middle.
Back at our hotel…they tempt you with cakes (in the background) and French rosé…we “caved.” It was delicious.
The next day we visited the Poppy Installation at the London Tower. Every ceramic poppy represents a death in World War I. It’s symbolic of the red poppies that grew in a field after a battle in France.
Now, my sister and I are off to stay at our good friends’ home in Surrey.
