Does it feel like Fall to you? I didn’t want to let go of Summer in spite of all the Fall splash in blogland. But yesterday it was drizzling in San Francisco (we need any rain we can get)…and I saw these fun soup tureens while
shopping at Hudson Grace for a client’s new dining room. The salesperson helped me rearrange things on this below table so I could I send a photo for scale to my client. (Do you occasionally move stuff around in stores to get a feel for things too?).
I said imagine this on your dining table filled with mini-pumpkins (or pomegranates now and green apples or lemons later).
THAT got me thinking of gourds and pumpkins for my home! So, I stopped at the grocery store yesterday and they didn’t have any yet! I went through my photos…and realized I never really get into Fall until October, my birthday MONTH.
I saved those pumpkin shaped seeds…time to pull them out and get some sunflowers!
We used white pumpkins in my client’s home. I’m going to add some to my mantel.
Soon I will show updates on projects that are coming together like this one. As you can see, the new Walker Zanger backsplash is in. Everything else is purchased from Circa Lighting, West Elm mugs, cutting board, marble utensil holder and Dash and Albert. The stools are from Restoration Hardware.
My friend gave us this gorgeous book about Valentino’s Table settings as hostess presents for giving her daughter the Blue and White Bridal Shower.
It comes in the beautiful hardcover box and includes healthy recipes. A nice read this past weekend when football was on non-stop.
Any Fall in your home yet??
