Aren’t these orderly books pretty and colorful?
This is an after photo…I suggested my client remove the shiny book jackets and order by size and/or color. An easy tip. I like “air” on my bookshelves but my client likes a library look (I really like both ways). I also suggested putting the paper back books someplace else.
I recommended placing art on the other side of the television for symmetry…and a few small things, like lighting but mostly my client did this herself…great job! The chair is from Pottery Barn and the ottoman is from Ethan Allan.
The real reason she called me was for her master bedroom. She has two celadon green club chairs so we are going with creams, greens and teal. It’s mostly ordered but it will take a while…stay tuned.
Another client in Walnut Creek, California wants a window treatment to finish off her new kitchen. Does anyone know a good window treatment fabricator in the East Bay??? It would be easier if it didn’t have to be shipped but we may go that route.
I gave her these two ideas. Which do you like? And my stack of blue fabrics for her to peruse is growing. Here are some…
Kravet Kamala Mist my sample has a whiter background.

The weather is glorious here in San Francisco.
But I’m packing for slightly cooler weather…my husband, sister and I are off to England. I will be checking in from there.
Meanwhile, our little Chief (on the left) is vacationing in San Diego with his brother (same litter), Judge. My mom’s white Bichon, Ginger, runs a tight ship. Can you tell by Chief’s body language?
