This is the home stretch of the One Room Challenge,
where twenty bloggers make over one room in six weeks.
I am redoing our college aged son’s bedroom.
Here is the wall opposite his bed.
A gallery wall of photos that are
important to him help disguise
important to him help disguise
the television. The curtains on the right were hung.
Here is the wall before.
And after.
I wanted all black and white photos, so some
that were colorful I just copied on photo paper
using the black and white setting. I already had the
frames and spray painted
some of them black if they weren’t already black.
I also switched the lamp shade for one that
blends with the grass shades
and added a carved jade tassel that was a gift.
This is a photo of Tommy when he was about nine years old.
We were on vacation in Italy.
He is drinking a soft drink called “Pschitt.”
Say that out loud. 🙂
Last week, I told you about spray painting his lamps.
Inside one of his books is a secret hiding place…don’t tell anyone.
I hung the French ticking stripe curtains from
Etsy on the bed frame.
The convex mirror used to be in my office.
In the reflection, you can see the pendant light from IKEA
that I altered for a more industrial look.
Look who blends in with the black and white scheme…
Next week is the Grande Finale…
new bedding to show you and more.
Liana is going to take the photos
and her camera is better than mine.
Check out this week’s progress with these
fine bloggers…
